BOMBAY STORIES
Bombay Stories is an anthology drama inspired by the writings of Saadat Hasan Manto, focusing on the interconnected lives of women—particularly sex workers—living on the margins of Bombay society. Through their experiences with exploitation, loneliness, prejudice and complicated relationships, the film explores their struggle for dignity, freedom and survival. Rather than following one central hero, it tells several emotionally connected stories that reveal a darker, often ignored side of the city and the people trying to find hope within it.
